About Steve

Steve is a Pittsburgh native and has an MBA in Management Planning and Control from the George Washington University. He and his wife of 26 years, Laurey, are members of Temple Emanuel and have raised three daughters, two graduates from Mt. Lebanon High School.

Steve has dedicated countless hours to our community. Besides serving as your Commissioner, he was a Coach and Sponsor of the Mt. Lebanon Girls Softball Association. He chaired the Mt. Lebanon Pension Investment Advisory Board, was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Tax Study Commission and served on the Mt. Lebanon Ad Hoc Parking Facilities Committee. In addition, he is a Past Treasurer of the Veterans’ Breakfast Club.

When he is not helping Mt Lebanon, Steve is the Vice President of Purchasing and Co-Owner of General Wire Spring Co., which has manufactured custom industrial springs since 1930. Also known as General Pipe Cleaners, it is a leading manufacturer of sewer and drain cleaning equipment for the professional, rental, and hardware trade with worldwide distribution.
